ACU Endorses Todd Young

Washington, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced its endorsement of Todd Young (Lifetime ACU Rating: 84%), the leading conservative in Indiana’s Senate race.

“After serving our country with distinction as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, Todd Young has brought principled and responsible leadership to the U.S. Congress,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp.  “As an important member of the Ways and Means Committee, Todd is a champion for the rights of the unborn and has worked tirelessly to repeal and replace Obamacare.  He is someone who understands the negative effects premium and deductible hikes are having on middle-class families and knows that big government is not the solution.  Todd Young has also fought to abolish the Death Tax that hits Indiana’s farms and family-owned businesses the hardest.  I strongly urge conservatives to support Todd Young.  He is someone who the citizens of Indiana will be proud to have represent them in the U.S. Senate.”

Todd Young responded to ACU’s endorsement by saying, "This election offers a clear choice between common sense conservative principles and more of the same liberal policies of the last eight years. I'm grateful for the ACU's endorsement, and I'm looking forward to bringing my conservative values to the United States Senate."

Founded in 1964, the American Conservative Union (ACU) is the nation’s original conservative organization.  For more than fifty years, ACU has served as an umbrella organization harnessing the collective strength of conservative organizations fighting for Americans who are concerned with liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values, and strong national defense.  As one of America's premier conservative voices, ACU promotes a conservative vision on issues before Congress, the Executive Branch, State Legislatures, the media, political candidates, and the public.
