Back in 2013, Charles Herring of Herring Networks, Inc. noticed that, while there was a wealth of liberal and mainstream media outlets reporting the news, conservatives could only count on one major cable network, Fox News, for fair coverage. He decided to do something about it. So One America News Network (OANN) was born.
OANN calls itself “a family owned and operated, independent media company focused on providing high quality national television programming to consumers via its national cable networks.” Its Washington DC news team is located right next door to Capitol Hill, and it tends to focus on issues that appeal to conservatives, while still maintaining journalistic integrity and unbiased coverage.
Watch OANN’s video on the history of Reagan below, and look for their correspondents again this year on media row at CPAC 2016, and be sure to watch their coverage by visiting their web page and clicking on “Where to Watch”.
