The American Conservative Union has been grading members on their votes on key conservative issues so that American's can quickly see who in Congress is upholding conservative ideas and values for over 40 years.
The American Conservative Union says that while Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty claims to be opposed to “irresponsible spending and borrowing,” her record shows otherwise. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said Esty’s ACU rating of “8” out of “100” for 2013 shows she has voted for the big spending, budget busting Obama agenda 92 percent of the time.
The American Conservative Union says that while Congressman Dave Loebsack claims to be a friend of small business, his record shows he is anything but. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp points out that Loebsack’s lifetime ACU rating of “5” out of 100 means he has voted with the Obama heavy regulatory, high tax agenda 95 percent of the time.
The American Conservative Union says that Congressman Bill Enyart is an unworthy successor to long time Congressman Jerry Costello and has reversed Costello’s strong pro-life record. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said Enyart’s support of late term abortions is putting his own ideology over the majority of his constituents.
