Washington, D.C. – Today, Co-Chair of CPAC 2014 and Chairman of the ACU Foundation Carly Fiorina addressed a crowd of excited conservative activists at CPAC 2014 – a celebration of 50 years of the ACU and America’s largest gathering of conservative leaders and activists.

"You know what makes me mad?  Liberals who say we don’t care.  Aren’t we sick of hearing that conservatives are waging a war on women, or we don’t care about the poor or we’re all about the 1% or we don’t care about the little guy? In truth it is liberals who are willing to sacrifice other people’s lives and livelihoods at the altar of their ideology. In truth it is liberals who are willing to sacrifice other people’s lives and livelihoods at the altar of their ideology,” the ACUF Chairman said.

Fiorina went on to continue, "When a person – any person – has the tools, training and education to tap their potential, the opportunities to fulfill their potential and the liberty to pursue their own dreams in their own way – both they and our nation prosper."

"We believe the highest calling of leadership and of our nation is to unlock the potential in others so they can live the best life they can… Leadership is about unlocking potential in others.  Leadership is about changing the order of things. It is time to change the order of things! We declare the end of the Obama era!" Fiorina exclaimed.

Carly Fiorina is Co-Chair of CPAC 2014 and Chairman of the ACU Foundation. She has an extensive career in business and is involved in many public policy initiatives. She is also engaged in philanthropic, non-profit work, including her own foundation. Carly’s current commitments are reflected in her involvement with U.S. leadership in development through public-private partnerships; the use of technology to provide health coverage access; the support of candidates who will be focused on job creation and economic growth policies, and personal philanthropy that aids grassroots individual empowerment.
