WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced that The Daily Caller’s Mickey Kaus has accepted CPAC’s challenge to debate Ann Coulter at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference. For years at CPAC, conservative columnist Robert Novak and veteran television journalist Sam Donaldson faced off against each other in an ever-popular rhetorical slugfest. This year’s debate serves as an appropriate coda to the ACU’s celebration of its 50th anniversary at this year’s largest gathering of conservative leaders and activists in America.

“We’re excited to announce that Mickey Kaus will debate Ann Coulter at CPAC 2014,” said Dan Schneider, Executive Director of the American Conservative Union. “Ann and Mickey are both dynamic political observers and we look forward to continuing the Novak and Donaldson tradition at CPAC."

The debate is set for Saturday, March 8 at 2 PM at this year’s venue, the Gaylord National Harbor Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC.
