American Conservative Union Political Action Committee Endorses Comstock for Virginia's 10th Congressional District
Washington, D.C. - The American Conservative Union's (ACU) Political Action Committee has thrown its support behind Barbara Comstock, front runner for Virginia's 10th Congressional District. The PAC vote was unanimous for Delegate Comstock who was recently re-elected for her third term in the General Assembly representing Northern Virginia.
Immediately following her announcement in early January, local as well as national conservative leaders have started lining up behind Comstock, who is well regarded as a principled leader with a winning record as a legislator and candidate.
"ACU PAC is proud to support Virginia state Delegate Barbara Comstock's candidacy for the 10th District congressional seat currently held by retiring Congressman Frank Wolf. Barbara is a principled conservative with a strong record who has earned a 97% lifetime rating with ACU. As a former senior aide to Rep. Wolf, as well as a skilled legislator, attorney, small businesswoman, and spokesperson, Barbara is the obvious and best choice for this seat to represent Northern Virginia," said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas in a statement.
Founded in 1964, the ACU represents the views of Americans who are concerned with economic growth through lower taxes and reduced government spending and the issues of liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values and national security. ACU first began rating members of Congress on key conservative voting issues in 1971, and since then their ratings system has become the most important conservative measuring stick in American politics.###
