American Conservative Union Announces Sponsors for CPAC Colorado
WASHINGTON, D.C. – American Conservative Union (ACU) Chairman Al Cardenas today announced that Focus on the Family affiliate CitizenLink, Common Sense Policy Roundtable, and The Heritage Foundation, are teaming up with ACU as sponsors for the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Denver, Colorado. Scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the Crowne Plaza Denver International Airport, CPAC Colorado will energize and mobilize Mountain West conservatives, giving them the tools needed to defeat the liberal agenda in 2012, while also highlighting rising conservative stars and issues in the region. Online registration is now available at conservative.org.
“We are pleased that these leading organizations have joined us in our efforts to mobilize conservatives in Colorado,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “A day after the first presidential debate in Denver, conservative leaders will have a platform at CPAC Colorado to send a loud and clear message that the liberal agenda championed by this White House and Senate will come to an end in November with the election of a new president and Senate.”
The ACU has hosted national CPAC since 1973, and it now stands as the largest annual gathering of conservatives in the nation. For CPAC Colorado, ACU will bring national and regional leaders together with local grassroots activists for a day of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities—all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values.
CPAC Colorado’s invited speakers include: U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), Glenn Beck, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Hugh Hewitt, U.S. Representative Raúl Labrador (R-ID), U.S. Representative Doug Lamborn (R-CO), U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Michael Medved, Peggy Noonan, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, U.S. Representative Denny Rehberg (R-MT), former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, and many others.
The American Conservative Union is America’s oldest and largest grassroots conservative organization and was founded in 1964. The ACU has hosted CPAC in the Nation’s Capital since 1973.
