American Conservative Union Announces Governor Sam Brownback to Address CPAC Colorado

WASHINGTON, D.C. – American Conservative Union (ACU) Chairman Al Cardenas today announced that Kansas Governor Sam Brownback will address CPAC Colorado – the second regional Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for 2012. Scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Denver International Airport, CPAC Colorado will energize and mobilize Mountain West conservatives, giving them the tools needed to defeat the liberal agenda in 2012, while also highlighting rising conservative stars and issues in the region. Online registration is now available at conservative.org.

“We are delighted that Governor Brownback will be a featured speaker at CPAC Colorado,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Governor Brownback is always a crowd favorite at CPAC and is a true conservative leader for Kansas.”

Governor Brownback will join Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, business leader and ACU Board member Carly Fiorina, American Spectator Senior Editor John Fund, National Rifle Association President and ACU Board member David Keene, U.S. Representative Doug Lamborn (R-CO), syndicated talk radio host Dana Loesch, and others at CPAC Colorado.

The ACU is teaming up with CitizenLink, The Heritage Foundation, Independence Institute, and the Common Sense Policy Roundtable to bring national and regional leaders together with local grassroots activists for a day of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities — all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values.

CPAC Colorado’s other invited speakers include: Glenn Beck, Puerto Rico Governor Luis Fortuño, Hugh Hewitt, Laura Ingraham, Peggy Noonan, Chuck Norris, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, former Massachusetts Governor and GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, U.S. Representative Paul Ryan, and many others.

The American Conservative Union is America’s oldest and largest grassroots conservative organization and was founded in 1964. The ACU has hosted CPAC in the Nation’s Capital since 1973.
