WASHINGTON, DC -- President Obama’s Executive Order is like a royal decree giving legal status to millions of people who came here and reside here illegally. The president is showing utter contempt for the American voter, the Constitution, the separation of powers and all those who follow the law. It is appalling that a president of the United States, after having suffered a humiliating defeat in the midterm elections and getting a clear vote of no confidence, would give the voters a single-finger salute of contempt.

The internet can be a tricky place to navigate. A lot of content is available for free online, but some of this free content is legal and some of it isn't. The American Conservative Union (ACU) is saddened by the loss of former ACU chairman and conservative pioneer Representative Phil Crane.

Illinois Congressman Philip M. Crane was elected ACU chairman in February 1977. Under Crane, it turned its attention to activism on high-profile, high-stakes national issues with less heed paid to squabbles with the GOP or other conservative groups. The task...

WASHINGTON, DC – Earlier today, President Obama released his Statement on Net Neutrality and said, “We cannot allow Internet service providers (ISPs) to restrict the best access or to pick winners and losers in the online marketplace for services and ideas.”

In his statement, Obama strategically employs conservative-sounding rhetoric, but with one key difference: Conservatives believe that government should not pick winners and losers.

The American Conservative Union (ACU) believes that it is the free-market’s job to decide winners and losers...
