Michael Medved to Be a Featured Speaker at CPAC 2012

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced Michael Medved will speak at and broadcast live from CPAC 2012 – the 39th annual Conservative Political Action Conference.  America’s largest gathering of conservative leaders and activists will be held Thursday, February 9 – Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Washington, DC.  The host of “The Michael Medved Show,” is also a New York Times bestselling author.

“Michael Medved is one of America’s most powerful conservative media personalities and an inspiring and thought provoking leader who impacts the views of millions of conservatives each day. We are honored to announce Michael’s participation at CPAC this year,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Next month, CPAC 2012 will be the nation’s premier event for showcasing conservative principles, policies and leaders.”

Michael Medved is a nationally syndicated radio talk show host, reaching more than 200 stations across the country and an audience of 4 million weekly. For more than a decade, he has ranked on the Talkers Magazine list of the top ten political talks shows in the United States. Medved has written 12 nonfiction books, including the recent bestsellers The 10 Big Lies about America and The 5 Big Lies about American Business. He is also a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and is a weekly columnist for Newsweek/The Daily Beast.

Every year, the ACU brings thousands of grassroots conservatives and conservative leaders together in Washington, DC for three days of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities – fall celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values.
