Washington, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) has expanded its initial efforts supporting Brian Kelsey, conservative candidate for Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District.
Building on the radio buy launched on July 20th, ACU has extended its reach to include the Jackson, Tennessee market and a number of Christian radio stations in the region. Additionally, a new digital ad campaign is expected to reach tens of thousands of voters in the 8th Congressional District. The digital ad highlights Kelsey’s speech at ACU’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this year where he spoke about his efforts to block a state income tax in Tennessee as well as his principled opposition to Obamacare expansion in the state.
“It is often difficult to cut through confusing campaign rhetoric to figure out which candidate is the best conservative in a race, but we think this is actually an easy call. If voters in western Tennessee are looking for a proven leader with a conservative track record, the decision is easy. Brian Kelsey is the real deal,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp.
