John Eddy


John is an operations expert, with decades of experience in grassroots marketing, political strategy and media communications and finance.  In addition to his role with SourceRock, John serves on the Advisory Board of Marmik Oil Company where he is responsible for strategic development of future exploration and infrastructure development.

Prior to SourceRock, John was a Partner with Meridian, a national public relations and consulting firm, where he ran the company’s southern operations.  At Meridian, John’s clients included Ford Motor Company, Wal-Mart, Exxon, American Petroleum Institute and numerous local, state and Presidential candidates.  In addition, John was formerly the Chairman of the Board for American Majority, a national grassroots training institute that has trained over 28,000 activists and candidates and has lectured both domestically and internationally on grassroots marketing, strategy and communications.

In the public sphere, John has served, among other positions, as Deputy White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Office of the Attorney General under President George W. Bush, Deputy Regional Political Director in 16 states for the RNC in 2004 and National Victory Director for the RNC in 2006.

John and his wife Tracy’s community and civic involvement is wideranging; they enjoy supporting Our House, a shelter for working homeless, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, KIPP Delta Public Schools, The Pat Tillman Foundation, the Arkansas Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the United Way of Union County Arkansas and the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center.

John graduated from Arizona State University’s School of Politics and Global Studies and recently was inducted as a Knight in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem under his Eminence Cardinal Edwin Frederick O’Brien.
