WASHINGTON DC – The American Conservative Union (ACU) applauds Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai for his decision to end Obama-era regulations imposed on the internet and restore internet freedom. Chairman Pai has faced a barrage of relentless attacks from the Left, many racist, violent, and some even targeting his wife and children. Chairman Pai has stood strong against these attacks and restored transparency to the process that removes the heavy-handed Title II regulations implemented by President Obama and former FCC Chair Tom Wheeler. ACU is proud to stand with Chairman Pai and we admire his courage.
ACU is also grateful to fellow FCC Commissioners Michael O’Rielly and Brendan Carr for their support of Chairman Pai’s framework to restore internet freedom.
