WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced U.S. Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin will address CPAC 2013 – the 40th annual Conservative Political Action Conference. America’s largest gathering of conservative leaders and activists will be held Thursday, March 14 – Saturday, March 16, 2013.
“We are delighted to welcome Senator Johnson back to the CPAC stage in March,” said Al Cardenas, ACU Chairman. “Senator Johnson is an independent conservative voice who has brought common-sense business experience to the Senate and will be a crucial voice on our discussion at CPAC about the Benghazi scandal.”
Prior to his election in 2010 as Wisconsin’s 18th Senator, Ron Johnson spent years in the private sector co-founding PACUR, a plastics manufacturer, in 1979 with his brother-in-law. This entrepreneurial spirit brought Johnson to Washington where he is taking a stand against the ever expanding size, scope and cost of our government.
CPAC will be held March 14-16, 2013 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, offering three days of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities – all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional American values.
