WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) announced today that U.S. Representative Cory Gardner, who represents the 4th district of Colorado, will be a featured speaker at CPAC Colorado in Denver on October 4, 2012.
“We are thrilled that U.S. Representative Cory Gardner will all be a featured speaker at CPAC Colorado,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Rep. Gardner is a strong conservative who for five years represented our values in the Colorado state house and has brought them to Washington. The congressman has advocated limited government and lower taxes and was one of the original co-sponsors of the balanced budget amendment.”
The ACU is teaming up with CitizenLink, The Heritage Foundation, the Independence Institute, and Common Sense Policy Roundtable to bring national and regional leaders together with local grassroots activists for a day of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities — all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values. Featured speakers for CPAC Colorado include Kansas Governor Sam Brownback, Former Democratic U.S. Representative and former Co-Chair for Obama for America Artur Davis, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, business leader and ACU Board member Carly Fiorina, American Spectator Senior Editor John Fund, National Rifle Association President and ACU Board member David Keene, U.S. Representative Doug Lamborn (R-CO), syndicated talk radio host Dana Loesch, U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), U.S. Representative Steve Pearce (R-NM), U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Chairman for Special Operations for America and Montana State Senator Ryan Zinke, and others.
Invited speakers include: Chuck Norris, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, former Massachusetts Governor and GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney, U.S. Representative Paul Ryan, and others. CPAC Colorado, which will be held in Denver the day after the first Presidential debate, serves as the second in a series of regional conferences in 2012 designed to mobilize Mountain West conservatives while highlighting conservative stars and issues in the region.
