WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced Texas Governor Rick Perry as a featured speaker at the 2013 regional Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013.

“I am pleased to welcome Texas Governor Rick Perry as a featured speaker for our 2013 regional CPAC in St. Louis,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Governor Perry has led his state by promoting free enterprise, creating jobs, and defending life and conservative American values. Governor Perry was a crowd favorite at CPAC 2013 and we look forward to hearing him speak in St. Louis.”

Texas’ 47th governor Rick Perry has led a life of public service, starting in the United States Air Force and continuing over two decades in elected office. Governor Perry’s administration has focused on creating a Texas of unlimited opportunity and prosperity by improving education, securing the border and increasing economic development through classic conservative values.

CPAC St. Louis will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the St. Charles Convention Center.
