WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced Tea Party Patriots Co-Founder Jenny Beth Martin as a featured speaker at the 2013 regional Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013.
“A crowd favorite at CPAC 2013, we are very excited that Jenny Beth Martin is returning to the CPAC stage in St. Louis,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Jenny Beth and the Tea Party Patriots have been a driving force in pushing leaders in Washington to return to the principles of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free market policies.”
Jenny Beth Martin is co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots, the nation’s largest tea party organization with more than 3,500 locally affiliated groups nationwide. She was named number 15 in TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential Leaders in 2010 and recently co-authored the book Tea Party Patriots: The Second American Revolution.
CPAC St. Louis will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the St. Charles Convention Center. It will provide a day of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities—all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values.
